Welcome to my blog, where I hope to provide some amount of entertainment, reason and different perspectives on current topics as well as anything else I decide to discuss. Please feel free to comment on the posts.
I’m Dana W. Edwards, a husband, a father, technophile, and current employee of Bank of America. In the past few years, I have held leadership roles at Bank of America, Wachovia / First Union, the Medical University of South Carolina, and the HOME Account Network. In addition to corporate work, I encourage others to become active in the local community and I stay active with local charities / groups including coaching my son’s basketball team at Mallard Creek Optimist Club.
My background as a chemist at MUSC, developer in a growing market, interim professor at CPCC, and MBA grad give me a unique view on various topics and I hope to share those with you through this blog. Not everything will be a serious topic so feel free to share your views too. I owe everything I know and think to my friends, my family, my coworkers, the College of Charleston and the McColl School at Queens University.
I live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my wife, Jill, and our two children. When I am not building electric circuits with my son, “cooking” with my daughter, or watching Atlanta Falcons’ football, I try to do something creative but that’s not always possible as people with kids understand.
I hope to hear from you on just about any topic but those of particular interest are new technologies, global financials / business, cooking, books, Charlotte local news, music, family, and recent movies.
Nice layout!
