Lucy – The Expert Sleeper

Aug 02 2010 Published by danaedwards under Family, shih tzu

Sometimes my family amazes me. Sometimes my dog is ridiculous. This time those are the same. :) Our dog is amazingly ridiculous. Most dogs would be ecstatic to go it for a walk. Ours won’t even wake up. LOL!!

This is not a forced photo by any means. Her eyes are rolled back in her head. I really wish I could sleep like that!

Enjoy the photos!

Lucy Loses 5 Pounds!

Mar 23 2010 Published by danaedwards under Family, shih tzu

Ok, so, our dog is a shih tzu and for some reason she likes to play with inflatable monkeys. She is doing so in the picture below. For the past few weeks, her hair has been knotted and getting bushier by the day. She is hilarious looking because her head looks smaller than her body when her hair is full.

When I came home tonight, she had gotten a haircut and I am pretty sure she lost 5 pounds. Either that or my wife switched our dog for a chiahuahua. You can be the judge. Either way, she is a funny looking dog. :) She might even look like a Chinese Crested right now.

Claire and Lucy

I think this one is pretty self explanatory. This is the first photo I have taken where both Claire and Lucy posed so it is getting posted.

Geocaching Success!

Jun 06 2009 Published by danaedwards under Family, shih tzu

Brennan and I went for a second bike hike today and caught up with some friends, the Mosers, who were Treasure Hunting!  We found the treasure for a Van Halen sounding geocache puzzle! We started the ride playing out by the fountain which was apparently prohibited and then on to the Treasue. The treasure was pretty neat – a little metal tube with a glass tube inside with a small scroll of all the people inside who had found it. Jill stayed home and slept. Great afternoon!

Thanks to Greg and Elizabeth Moser for showing us how to geocache!
